Club History | Hampton Youth FC was formed on the back of an impromptu dads v lads kick about in Carlisle Park ,as players young and old tried to emulate exploits of the superstars of Italian World Cup. Within 2 years teams were being fielded on a regular basis. Around 2009, and as a result of inclement weather postponing a Saturday morning training session, the blue print to the current set up was put together over a hearty breakfast. At this point it was agreed that we should strive to enter teams at each age group from 7 to 16 and where possible 2 sides at each age group. A coaching template was agreed such that sessions would be delivered in a manner consistent across the full range of the Club. In 2015 it was agreed that the Clubs name would be changed to Hampton and Richmond Borough Youth FC to compliment the enhance affiliation with Senior club In the years since inception, we have experienced many successes on the playing field, League’s have been won, promotions secured, cups lifted and tournaments won. However we, collectively, concur that primary achievement is continued growth and maintaining a happy environment |
Club Philosophy | To provide access for kids to play football in a safe and positive environment, to provide coaching at a consistent standard which will allow player to develop their full potential. We firmly believe that , irrespective of match results , that teams attending our homefield enjoy their visit and that our teams leave away matches with respect and integrity |
