Club History | The present NPL Football Club developed from Bushy House FC and was formed in 1912 by employees of the National Physical Laboratories. In its early years the club played in the Civil Service League, Middlesex County Amateur League and in the South West Middlesex League until 1948. The club boasts an outstanding Youth Section with nearly 30 teams in all age groups playing on both Saturdays and Sundays. The Football Club is the largest of the different sports sections within the parent NPL Sports Club which enjoys excellent facilities, including 9 grass football pitches, two first class cricket squares, hard and grass tennis courts and new changing rooms, a new Tea room available for hire and a well maintained pavilion, club house and bar offering food and drinks. |

Club Philosophy | NPLYFC’s mission statement is to “provide all NPLYFC members, and visiting teams, with the opportunity to play competitive football in a safe, controlled and friendly environment under the supervision of FA qualified coaches. Additionally, the club encourages everyone involved – players, coaches, parents and spectators – to support our young players in finding challenges, enjoyment and fun, as well as learning about teamwork as they practice and play football”. |
