Dear Club Secretaries,

The League have received many enquires seeking guidance about the current outbreak of Coronavirus, in particular attempts to control spreading the virus, and the continuation of fixtures.

At the time of writing, there is no restriction on travel, or any suggestion that grassroots football events should be cancelled. The Coronavirus situation is very fluid and changes daily. We appreciate that many of you are concerned, so we urge all Member Clubs to provide their Officials, Coaches, Players and Parents with as much information as you can and would request that you share this email with them.

The League are closing monitoring the situation, and reviewing advice provided by the Government, as well as football’s governing bodies. If the situation changes, and additional measures become necessary, please rest assured that the League will act swiftly to put in place whatever the guidance recommends. The League also ask Member Clubs to follow all Government advice closely and do everything they can to stay safe in these difficult circumstances.
